Oil Tank Cover AND Gasket Part Replacement for Juki 1541 Industrial Sewing Machine DNU-1541 1541H 1541S 1541-7

Does your Juki oil cover crack and/or leak oil from the holes with the rubber plugs? If so, this is the fix you need! I got tired of just pouring oil THROUGH my machine. I bought Juki original replacement covers and they STILL broke and leaked. Because of that frustration, we now make a replacement upgrade if you are having the same issue!

These are manufactured in Oregon, USA. These are Juki compatible replacement parts, they are NOT Juki and NOT made in Japan.

This kit fits Juki models: DNU-1541, DNU-1541H, DNU-1541S, DNU-1541-7

You will receive: One (1) clear acrylic cover AND one (1) oil resistant paper gasket. Look at all the photos of installation for more details. Photos show this kit installed on my Juki DNU-1541.

• Made of clear acrylic engraved with original high and low oil levels indicators.
• The oil-resistant gasket provides a better seal to help prevent future oil leaks.

How to install: Remove the six screws and the clear OEM oil tank cover. Install the supplied oil-resistant paper gasket. Then install the provided clear cover. Be certain to orient the cover so the engraved high and low text reads correctly.  Next, install the steel cover plate. Re-insert and tighten the six screws until snug. Do NOT overtighten the screws or it WILL likely crack the acrylic.

NOTE: Be sure to retain the rubber plugs from the OEM cover and keep in your possession should you ever revert back to the OEM style cover with the holes.

• steel cover plate (retain and reuse yours): #44 on schematic Part #214-01500 oil tank cover plate
• gasket: #42 on schematic Part #214-01302 gasket (retain and reuse your original steel lined gasket and ADD this paper based gasket)

SOLUTION: Replace acrylic oil tank cover with this cover. It has the oil level lines and it eliminates the rubber plugged holes to help ensure no oil leaks! This kit also includes a gasket.
